From the margins of the notes #1

A new regular feature (well an attempt at least, when I try regular features on my blog, I never remember to continue from my first post) on my blog today, I'm currently in the time period of should be revising and looking at my notes. Problem being sometimes I get bored and doodle in the margin during lectures. Here is today's doodle. In all honesty I'm not exactly sure what I've drawn here. Any help interpreting the drawing will be greatly appreciated.

It's a witch, with a tree for hair in a land of lollipop trees. I like it.

I think it's a witch who's had to regrow her head because it was chopped off by a prince, but in her haste decided to use bellows as a medieval petri dish. She's managed to puff herself to the land of maracas where she can play la cucaracha to reform the rest of her body. Oh - and a bird flew into her hair and got stuck in the grease.

Bert - I am? I'm not exactly sure what one of those is, other than knowing it my housemates new tatoo and made Jean Grey go a little crazy in X-men 3. But I'd like to pretend it's a good thing.

Loo - Lollipop trees? I was thinking the same actually! 2 points for getting lollipop trees.

Ant - Full points for your delightful tale. I'm sure all the above is true, and I've very much like to read a novel about the petri dish woman.

You know that bit at the beginning of Scooby and Scrappy Doo

uncle scooby, ulp, I'm scrappy annoying

etc

well it's one of the menacing terrors that turns out to be something perfectly innocent. A curtain, or a tree made out of evil blancmange, something ordinary and harmless like that.

Although Ant may be correct after all.

I haven't a clue what it is, other than LOVELY!

Jemima - I'd like to think my tree hag has the look of being quite menacing, but underneath is quite lovely.

Newplanet - Thank you, you've seen the underpinning of a loverly person in the drawing.
